I have recently visited River motor homes in Hereford & feel I need to share my experience there.It was amazing!Absolutely no pushy sales person,the very opposite! All motor homes are unlocked,so could browse each one I was interested in without someone breathing down your neck.John left me to browse but anything I was interested in was soon available & I did actually take two out for a short drive,again no pressure.I was actually advised to go home & think things through & come back again anytime.I did actually go back the next day,still couldn’t decide.So to date,I haven’t actually purchased a motorhome yet but I can highly recommend this company they have some amazing motor homes at exceptional prices & hopefully one day very soon,I will purchase one from them. ~ Tricia C
The Hereford branch of River Motorhomes deserves a full 5 Star rating ! This our fourth brand new Motorhome , have also over the years purchased many new cars ,this dealership is by far the best customer experience ever . Nothing is too much trouble .John , his wife Michelle , their amazing team Laura Chris and Andy couldn’t do more to answer all our queries . They are not a high pressure dealership, but allow you to have time to consider all the facts and follow up only when you are ready . If they promise to “ come back to you with a reply “ they keep their word . Offer very competitive deals on part exchanges . I thought this very high level of customer service had disappeared , it hasn’t , it’s alive and well at the Hereford branch . Many thanks John to you and your very friendly helpful team . Went to River Motorhome Hereford site for a new fridge to be fitted to my motorhome under warranty. The staff were friendly especially Amy Goldstone who went above and beyond to get our fridge sorted as quickly as possible. Having never been to the Hereford site before I would totally recommend a visit they have a large selection of Motorhome as well as accessories in the shop. The fridge only took a couple of hours to be fitted so we were taken to the local garden centre by car and picked back up when they were finished and back on our way again. Thanks Any and the staff at Hereford site. 5 stars all the way. ~ Margaret H
We had a problem with the habitation door handle on the outside of our motorhome whilst en route to Wales. We'd seen on the Chausson owners group that River Motorhomes had received some great reviews so we rang them in the hope they could help. I spoke to Amy who was very proactive by asking if we were able to pass by the Hereford branch on our travels, which we could. She booked us in to see Tom, who came out straight away and fixed the handle no problems! No expensive part needed thank goodness! Really great service, will be visiting their Stratford on Avon branch for any future problems. Thank you so much! ~ Sarah F
Following my original post below......I wanted to say a massive thanks to Tom who leads the Service team and Chris in Customer support. Post sale - these two chaps have provided some really standout service and been brilliant with quick resolutions to issues/snags since purchase. Just brilliant post sales service !!! Don’t normally do shoutouts but had to do it on this occasion - Steve in Sales at Rivermotorhomes was great - he made the process of buying our new Pilote V600 van in Hereford really slick! We had been very precise about what we wanted and he was really quick to find answers when needed on the van. He’s now accelerating some additional items for us as part of the sale. My wife and I are now really looking forward to collecting it at the end March for our first trip in it. We couldn’t be happier with the service Steve provided, and we’d highly recommend him and Rivermotorhomes ~ nigel h
Amazing service and follow-up. Being my first camper, I needed my hand held! Chris is very experienced, knowledgeable and informative. I asked so many questions, and Chris was more than happy to help with every one of them, even advising on awnings, etc, which he wasn't selling. Being a second-hand vehicle, there were a couple of minor issues that were put right immediately and without fuss. I honestly can't recommend the company strongly enough. Service and customer satisfaction are clearly a priority and Chris is a credit to them. ~ Rachel P
Great service from the whole team. We wanted to try out an X550 before protentially buying one at some stage, Booking the hire was very simple with excellent comunication throughout. The X550 was ready to go when we arrived and was lovely. The return handover was just as simple. Bec emailed me a few days later to say they had found my air pods down the back of the sofa and kindly sent them on to me. Altogether a very lovely service and would recomend to anyone wanting to hire a van. ~ Roland S
We recently had a motorhome to hire for our trip to France. Really pleased with the customer service especially from Bec! All ran smoothly and can't thank them enough as we were able to have the most amazing trip ! Thanks again. More points to add - Process was straight forward, collected the motorhome on time which was clean inside and out, was informed on how to use all the appliances inside which was very helpful. Absolutely fantastic company! From collection to drop off very professional. The Motorhome was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a lovely break. We were shown around the Motorhome and told how everything worked which was great as there were lots of buttons. We thoroughly enjoyed our break away. Highly recommend! Me and wife Debbie definitely made the best choice in buying from River Motorhomes. Chris and Phil were lovely and friendly guys to us and the whole experience of buying our Chausson 640 was great and we will continue to be customers in the coming years in having yearly servicing and Habitation checks.
